She's talking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They extubated (removed her breathing tube) Colleen this morning, and she is talking and responding appropriately to questions. She knows where she is, who is around her, what year it is...etc.  I talked with her for a brief moment on SKYPE and she said, "Oh Lynette...I love you." She is still very weak and fragile, and tires very quickly, but we are SOOO grateful at this progress. Our prayers have been asking for more precious time with her.

Thank you for all of you who have been following and caring so deeply from afar.

We can't tell how delighted we were to read this blog & the the most recent CaringBridge updates. How very thankful we are to hear the wonderful news of her responsiveness. Praising God with you! We talked with Steph last night & she mentioned you will be in the same hospital little Indi was born in. Having been there - it's special to think of you there & makes our prayers for you more personal, someway. We wanted you to know we are keeping you & your precious baby in our prayers - along with continued prayers for all the Polinders and especially Colleen (who has impacted our lives in so many ways). Blessings, Greta & Jim
